Predicting the NFC South Standings in 2020: Training Camp Edition

What a difference a year makes. The NFC South went from being a division with some star power, but with the New Orleans Saints holding a clear advantage over everyone else. Now, it’s a free for all with some of the biggest names in the NFL all playing in the same division–helping the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers to compete.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made the biggest free agent signing in recent memory when they convinced Tom Brady to leave New England and try to win somewhere else. He joins a division with some of the top quarterbacks in the league, Matt Ryan (Falcons) and Drew Brees (Saints).

Teddy Bridgewater will be a welcomed new addition to a Panthers team looking to rise to the top. With that kind of talent, this division is sure to see plenty of firepowers this year.

With plenty of offense to be had, the biggest question in this division is if anyone can unseat the Saints at the top. The Saints are three-time division champions and have a strong cast of returning players. With Brees, Brady, and Ryan all getting up there in years, each season is a precious opportunity to make another run at a title.

Which team has what it takes to make it through to the playoffs? Here are predicted standings for the NFC South.
