Redskins: 3 late free agency targets Washington should pursue

Jason Peters, Left Tackle

The Redskins should also have quite a bit of interest in adding a veteran left tackle like Jason Peters. After trading Trent Williams to the San Francisco 49ers earlier this offseason, signing Peters would make a ton of sense.

Washington needs to protect second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins at all costs. Haskins has a ton of talent, but he cannot afford to take a beating in his first full season as the starter. Peters may not be a great long-term option, but he could absolutely play at a high level for another year or two.

Peters would be a quality addition for quite a few teams around the NFL. However, the Redskins should go out and make the move to bring him in.
