Engram is Healthy to Start Season
It’s clear that Evan Engram has struggled to stay on the field since providing the New York Giants with a truly impressive rookie campaign. To start the 2020 season, he is healthy and will be ready to play.
In 2019, Engram dealt with knee issues early in the season then a high ankle sprain. There was optimism at times he’d be able to come back later in the season but it never ended up transpiring. He ultimately underwent surgery to repair a Lisfranc injury in December.
Despite the procedure, Engram was not prevented from participating on the field to start training camp and is considered a ‘full go.’
While it’s important Engram manages to stay healthy throughout the 2020 season, it’s at least intriguing that he will have a clean bill of health at the beginning. The Giants will be all the more intriguing in 2020 if he can manage to stay healthy.
