Add More Firepower to the Offense

It’s clear the Indianapolis Colts have placed an emphasis on adding more talent on offense in recent years. It started with the second-round selection of Parris Campbell in the 2019 NFL Draft then was followed up in 2020 by the additions of Michael Pittman Jr and Jonathan Taylor.

Entering the 2020 season, the Colts’ offense will feature four main options at the wide receiver position including T.Y. Hilton, Michael Pittman Jr., Zach Pascal, and Campbell. With Pascal being a free agent in 2021, there is an outlook to make an upgrade in free agency.

All signs point to Campbell being an impactful receiver in the NFL. However, he’s still going to need to prove himself in 2020 considering he had an injury riddled rookie campaign. If he struggles, the Colts could justify pursuing a more established option.

Overall, the Colts would have an impressive supporting cast around the quarterback position with a Smith-Schuster addition. With the young talents having more experience to their name ahead of the 2021 season, Indianapolis would be a tough unit to stop.
