Leading up to the draft, it seems as if people have a mixed feelings about Kristian Fulton at the next level. Earlier in his collegiate career, Fulton was plagued with injuries and was also suspended for his sophomore season.

Then, in his senior season in 2019, Fulton recorded 38 tackles, 14 deflections, and an interception. Following his senior season at LSU, there are high expectations for Fulton in the NFL.

Fulton, similar to the other cornerbacks that could go in the first round, is at his best in man coverage. On the other hand, Fulton may need some time to develop in some areas of his game, making the Falcons an unlikely landing spot.

If the Falcons are willing to be patient for a cornerback to develop, then Fulton could be an intriguing option for them. However, with Atlanta likely wanting a plug-and-play starter, Fulton probably isn’t atop their draft board.
