The Carolina Panthers are heading into the NFL offseason with big goals of getting back into playoff contention in 2020. Under new head coach Matt Rhule, things are going to be changing. A new era of football is set to begin.

In order to get back into playoff contention, the Panthers are going to need to bring in a lot more talent on both sides of the football. While they may spend some money in free agency, the 2020 NFL Draft also has quite a bit of talent scattered throughout all seven rounds.

One major position of need for the team this offseason will be at cornerback. They need more playmakers in their secondary. Carolina has always been a defensive team and they can’t afford to continue forward without being able to slow down opposing aerial attacks.
