Atlanta Falcons Are In The Head Coach & GM Market
There’s no coming back from an 0-5 start to the season for a team that had hopes of earning a playoff spot like the Falcons. Now, former head coach Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff will be looking for their next opportunity elsewhere.
The expectation was for the Falcons to have a bad defense based on the personnel they had entering this season. The coaching job from Quinn did little to elevate the unit— oftentimes, causing Atlanta to either blow big leads or simply come up short.
It remains to be seen who the Falcons will end up hiring to be their next head coach. However, it’s clear Quinn was not the answer, and moving on from him was the right answer.
The focus for the Falcons will be to see how the interim coach can perform in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings.
