4. Turnovers Are A Problem For The Cowboys

In each of the Cowboys’ performances this season, they’ve required their offense to put up big numbers in order to have a chance to win. Partly, the lack of impact on defense has been a factor, but so has the struggles the offense has experienced with turning the ball over.

Perfection shouldn’t be asked of the Cowboys’ offense. However, while they managed to put 38 points on the board, two of their turnovers resulted in touchdown drives for the Browns— creating a potentially game-changing swing on the score.

After Dak Prescott launched a handful of strikes downfield that easily could have been picked off by Browns defenders, Cleveland finally came away with a pick on the Cowboys’ final drive.

Since the Cowboys’ loss in their season opener against the Rams, this Dallas offense has recorded at least three giveaways in each of their performances. Cutting down on turnovers would go a long way in overcoming their defense.
