The Browns’ Running Game Was Effective
There was a lot that went wrong for the Browns in this game. The scoreboard does enough of the talking because anytime a team loses by 32 points, it’s safe to say it was an ugly outing.
One silver lining for the Browns in their loss to the Ravens was teh success they experienced in the running game. It wasn’t just Nick Chubb doing it all himself either. In fact, Kareem Hunt was the leading rusher and the duo combined for 132 yards on just 23 combined carries.
It’s not too much of a surprise that a Kevin Stefanski offense will run the football well. The results the Browns’ backfield duo can achieve this season could end up rivaling just about any combo in the NFL. It will be fascinating to track throughout their schedule.
If the Browns can figure out how to fix the underwhelming results they’ve achieved in the passing game, the running game will be waiting to unlock the offense.
