Aaron Rodgers
Between the Packers drafting Jordan Love in the first round and experts stating Aaron Rodgers’ decline, there was a lot of bulletin board material for him in the offseason. The motivation is there for No. 12 to go out and put together a strong season.
The first chance Rodgers will get to prove his detractors wrong will come in Week 1 against the Vikings. With inexperienced defensive backs and Danielle Hunter sidelined, Minnesota will be in a weakened position defensively.
The focus of the Packers’ offensive attack will continue to be the running game, so don’t expect massive numbers from Rodgers. However, whether it’s on crucial third-down situations, or a big play throughout the game, Rodgers will be able to deliver dynamic strikes for Green Bay.
The Packers now have a full season under head coach Matt LaFleur’s offensive system and there were some key things to iron out. After having an offseason to study film as well, there should be a very strong familiarity and understanding for Rodgers to operate at a high-level.
