Both the Atlanta Falcons and the Dallas Cowboys suffered Week 1 losses and come into Week 2 looking for their first wins.

Atlanta’s 450 passing yards weren’t enough, as Seattle lit up the Falcons’ defense and won 38-25. Matt Ryan connected with three receivers for over 100 yards – Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Russell Gage, while Todd Gurley struggled in his Falcons’ debut with only 56 rushing yards.

Dallas fell to the Los Angeles Rams 20-17 on Sunday Night Football. The defense wasn’t great for Dallas, allowing Malcolm Brown to tear them apart on the ground. the offense wasn’t bad for the ‘Boys, but once again, it was an underwhelming perforamnce by Dallas.

Week 2 provides an opportunity for each team to grab a win and get back on track. The Falcons need every win they can in such a tough division and while the Cowboys should win the NFC East, a start like they had in Week 1 doesn;t show any sort of guarantee.

With that, let’s take a peak at 4 major X-Factors to watch in the Falcons vs. Cowboys matchup in Week 2.
