2. Leonard Fournette & Ronald Jones Both Score Rushing TDs
Due to the tough secondary and Brady turning the ball over, the Bucs will turn to their ground game. Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette are both very good running backs.
The Buccaneers have been working both backs into their gameplan and as of right now, Jones has been more consistent. However, neither has clicked at the same time. That could change this week against the Chargers.
With so much focus on this Buccaneers passing attack, the Tampa run game has a chance for a big day. Tampa Bay’s offensive line has done a very good job so far of creating holes for their backs to run through. This week the Buccaneers may be able to get a few big runs into the end zone. The Chargers weakest link on defense is their linebackers. Look for Tampa to attack them with then run and try to use the play-action to open up the pass game.
Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette are two very different backs. Jones is the much shifter back who’s capable of making defenders miss. Fournette is a bruiser who is a handful in the rezone. Fournette will get a goal line score and Jones might get a nice 15 to 20 yard scamper into the end zone.
