It was a successful opening week for both the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. Both teams were able to pick up double-digit wins lled by their strongest units.

The Patriots began the post-Tom Brady era with a win over the Miami Dolphins. Is anyone surprised? Cam Newton looked extremely good with his new team and the defense did not miss a beat.

The Patriots allowed just 11 points in this victory and were able to pick off Ryan Fitzpatrick three times. They will prepare for a much better offense in Week 2.

Russell Wilson was outstanding in the Seahawks’ opening win over the Atlanta Falcons. He picked apart the Falcons to the tune of 322 yards and four touchdowns on 31-35 passing. If there was one knock, the Seahawks were unable to run the ball but their quarterback picked up the slack.

This is a Super Bowl rematch from the 2014 season. Wilson threw an interception at the goal line as Pete Carroll decided not to run the football. Th coach and quarterback duo is still there in Seattle looking to win this time around.
