The Eagles Win This Thing… Somehow

I know that the Eagles haven’t looked great, I know that. One win, three losses, and one tie to the Cincinnati Bengals of all teams really does speak for itself…

…but on the other hand, have they really been that bad? Maybe in the early weeks of the season, but the Eagles’ last two performances shouldn’t go unnoticed.

They were able to pull off an upset in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers, and took the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers to the final minutes in a 29-point showing against one of the NFL’s best defenses. The Eagles, for as underwhelming as their team record is, are a group that can’t be written off.

The Ravens, on the other hand, have been coasting in recent weeks. They had an uninspired win against the Football Team in week four, and a win off of Lamar Jackson’s worst game of the season in Week 5. This is a team, that, for as talented as they are, have some things they need to figure out, and might be looking straight at that Week 7 bye in hopes of figuring them out.
If Baltimore comes out looking flat and the Eagles can build on their momentum from this two-week stretch, an upset could be on the horizon. The Ravens are tied with the Colts and behind only the Patriots and the Dolphins as the biggest betting favorites of Week 6. But this game might have some sneaky upset potential.
