Fred Warner Gets Into The Pro Bowl, Too
Warner is just 35 games into his young NFL career (including the playoffs), but he’s already one of the best young linebackers in the game today. And he’ll only get better with age as he gains experience in shutting down the run and reading passing concepts on the go.
Last year, he led the 49ers with 118 combined tackles (89 solo, seven for loss of yards) while creating splash plays all over the field: three sacks, nine passes defended, and four takeaways (three forced fumbles, one interception).
He projects to improve now that he’s another year older and wiser, and that should help his cause with Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechley retired and off of the ballot.
