It didn’t take long for former All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown to announce his intent to play in the NFL during the 2020 season. This came two days after hinting at retiring from his playing career, challenging Brett Favre’s title for most comeback attempts.
Before being able to sign with a team, Brown must be cleared by the NFL from the ongoing personal conduct case that has been open for roughly the last 11 months. Brown made it clear he wants the league office to ‘provide clarity’ into the case so he can play again.
With training camp quickly approaching, it remains to be seen if Brown will be in a position where he can sign with a team to participate. He has stayed out of the news cycle for quite some time before announcing his latest retirement just a few days ago.
The final full-season Brown played in the NFL came in 2018 as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He appeared 15 regular season games and recorded 168 targets, 104 receptions, 1,297 receiving yards, and an NFL most 15 touchdown catches.
With that being said, here are five logical landing spots for Antonio Brown to pull off a return to the NFL.
