Antonio Brown: 5 logical landing spots if he gets cleared to play

Green Bay Packers

Heading into halftime of the 2019 NFC Championship Game, the Green Bay Packers failed to put up a single point and trailed 37-20 to the San Francisco 49ers. Their defense failed miserably to stop the run, but the offense was bottled up too easily making it much harder to play a complete game.

The only addition the Packers made in free agency to address the wide receiver position was the Devin Funchess signing. Green Bay then elected to use the 2020 NFL Draft to take their quarterback of the future along with addressing other areas. It’s just not enough.

The Packers’ passing attack begins with Davante Adams and there isn’t a whole lot beyond him. The complementary options at the receiver position project as being Allen Lazard, Marques Valdes-Scantling, and Funchess based on their personnel.

There is still a chance for the Packers to make a splash at the wide receiver position by pursuing an Antonio Brown signing. It would be a risky move considering the potential for off-field distractions, but it’s a needed one to help make their offense much tougher to stop.
