The Dallas Cowboys came close to winning the NFC East and ultimately earning a trip to the post-season in 2019, but failed to get the job done. They will be looking to change that during the upcoming season.
There is plenty of reason to be intrigued about the Cowboys heading into the upcoming season, particularly about the offense. For starters, Dallas made a splash in the 2020 NFL draft by selecting former Oklahoma standout CeeDee Lamb, making their talent all the more dynamic.
The Cowboys did lose Travis Frederick to retirement and that will surely result in a decline in results, but overall, there’s no shortage of talent. Much of Dallas’ roster turnover occurred on the defense in an effort to retain talent on offense.
While there is still a need to get a long-term deal done with Dak Prescott, the Cowboys still have no shortage of talented holdovers at key spots. Amari Cooper signed an extension and they still have Ezekiel Elliott and Michael Gallup very much in the fold.
