Produces Elite Results Overall
The Dallas Cowboys’ offense produced strong results in 2019 that translated in the stat sheet. No team totaled more yards (6,904) and they managed to rack up 434 points (6th), 327 first down conversions (3rd), and just 18 turnovers (9th). From an overview standpoint, that’s quite impressive.
A key factor in the Cowboys’ robust offensive stats from last season was their ability to beat up on bad teams. They ended up struggling against winning teams, but overall, there’s reason to believe that will change during the upcoming season.
The 2019 season was the first full campaign offensive coordinator Kellen Moore spent in such a role. It will only help to have that year of experience to fine tune his practices and build on the system. That should only help the unit as a whole, especially with Mike McCarthy at head coach.
There is simply too much talent on offense for the Cowboys to not have elite results in 2020. The fact that Dallas has one of the easiest schedules in terms of aggregate opponent 2019 win percentage makes it all the more likely for them to achieve elite status on offense.
