Cowboys Receivers Post NFL Best Results
The wide receiver duo the Dallas Cowboys featured last season with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup produced very strong results. Many leave them off the list of the top receiver duos in the NFL heading into the 2020 season, but when factoring in the No. 3 spot, no team has more talent.
Instead of shying away from adding more firepower into the mix, they used the No. 17 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft to add the explosive playmaker, CeeDee Lamb. It can take time to adjust to the professional level but Lamb won’t be the focus of the defense, affording him simpler conditions to thrive.
Defenses will always have to worry about the elite impact Ezekiel Elliott provides in the backfield. Having a legitimate three-headed monster at the wide receiver position will be too much for opposing teams to account for on top of the running game.
It’s difficult to envision any team in the NFL having a trio of wide receivers producing better stats than the Cowboys’ trio. Dallas already led the league in total yardage in 2019 and they managed to add a highly intriguing that can make big plays and play multiple spots.
