Devin Singletary
Current ADP in redraft leagues: RB24, Pick No. 59
Similar to last year, the Buffalo Bills feature a backfield that is hard to gauge for fantasy football. Only this time around, instead of vying for touches with 80-year-old Frank Gore, Devin Singletary could see his touches limited due to rookie third-round pick, Zack Moss.
In his rookie campaign in 2019, Singletary showed flashes of explosiveness, totaling 969 scrimmage yards and four total touchdowns. His production was capped due to Gore touching the ball just one less time than Singletary. The FAU product would conclude last season as the 32nd highest-scoring running back in fantasy football. Although, he would produce just 0.77 fantasy points per opportunity (78th among RBs in 2019).
Seeing that Singletary was the 35th running back drafted in most leagues in 2019, he had a solid return for people that rostered him. With that being said, it almost seems impossible he pays off his price in 2020. At this moment, Singletary is positioned as RB24 in most drafts so far at an ADP of 59.
The second-year running back is apparently struggling with fumbles in training camp, which was an issue last season, with him fumbling it four times in 2019. Another glaring concern is that the Bills reportedly want Moss to fill Gore’s role from a season ago — and possibly more. In light of that, it’s probably best to avoid Singletary at his current price point and hope one of your league mates reaches for him.
