In 2015, Cam Newton was at the top of the fantasy world. Five years later, he has fallen a few tiers. There are a few quarterbacks that make up tier one including Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Lamar Jackson, and Deshaun Watson.

The second tier is made up of quarterbacks in systems where they will put up big numbers. These include Dak Prescott, Kyler Murray, and Matt Ryan. The veterans like Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Ben Roethlisberger are still viable options.

Newton ranks in the bottom half of the starters in the fantasy world. He is likely a bench option in all formats.

Newton is, at best, a top 20 quarterback in fantasy football. He is. a late-round draft option. He is a good option on the bench in the instance of an injury to your starter, but it will be difficult to fully rely on Newton given his new team situation and injury riddled 2019 campaign.
