2020 projections: 254 carries, 976 yards, six rushing touchdowns 28 receptions, 224 yards, two receiving touchdowns

The Chicago Bears did a complete one-eighty on offense in 2019 compared to the year they had in 2018. Nonetheless, David Montgomery was still able to put together a respectable rookie season in the Windy City.

After being taken in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Montgomery would proceed to scamper for 889 yards (second-most among rookies) and six touchdowns. The Iowa State product also recorded 25 receptions for 185 yards and another touchdown in Chicago’s passing attack.

The value of Montgomery in fantasy football heavily reliant upon the quarterback play for the Bears. If either Nick Foles or Mitch Trubisky can prove they can lead the charge under center, then Montgomery could be a solid under-the-radar choice in redraft leagues this offseason.
