By Alvin Kamara‘s standards, he had a bit of a down year in 2019. He posted career lows in total yardage (1,330) and total touchdowns (6). Despite these career lows, that output is nothing to scoff at, especially given the fact that Kamara dealt with injury throughout the 2019 season.
It was the only season in which he missed multiple games due to injury in the NFL. Even when he was on the field, it appeared he was fighting through injury. Kamara acknowledged this with a tweet back in March.
Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Kamara will come into the 2020 season motivated and ready to earn a big pay day at season’s end. Don’t dwell too much on his output last year, expect a bounce back performance from Kamara in 2020.
