1.) Christian McCaffrey
Who else would the top spot go to? Christian McCaffrey dominated the competition last season, totaling an astounding 2,392 scrimmage yards and 19 total touchdowns.
It’ll be nearly impossible for McCaffrey to surpass these numbers in 2020, but there’s little reason to doubt he’ll have a similarly dominating season, especially since he’ll only be 24 years old heading into the year. He did get a whopping 403 total touches in 2019, which isn’t ideal, but with Matt Rhule and Joe Brady now running the offense, they should be able to find creative ways to spread the ball around.
These new coaches should also benefit McCaffrey too, as they’ll also be able to scheme up creative ways to get him the ball in space.
McCaffrey is the easy pick for the No. 1 spot, and you’d be foolish to pass up on him with the first overall pick in this year’s fantasy draft.
