NFL Free Agency 2021: 6 way-too-early landing spots for Aaron Jones

6. Green Bay Packers

Let’s get the most obvious option on the board first. Aaron Jones returning to the Packers is absolutely the most likely and logical move for both sides.

Yes, the Packers drafted AJ Dillon, but Jones is a legitimate star. Green Bay has been searching for a star at the running back position for years. Jones offers them that potential and takes a ton of pressure off of the passing game.

Jones isn’t going to break the bank for Green Bay to sign a new deal. He isn’t going to come cheap either, but the Packers know how important he is to their offense.

Don’t be surprised if Jones and the Packers work something out. There is a chance that Green Bay goes a different direction, but they certainly don’t want to.
