Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl Champs with arguably the best quarterback in the NFL leading their offense and yet, they could be better. In 2019, the Chiefs’ offense ranked 6th in points scored and 5th in passing yards but only 27th in rushing attempts and 23rd in rushing yards. Something has to change.
Imagine where this offense could be if they were to get better production from their backs. LeSean McCoy is moving on, which will leave the Chiefs with no one who gained more than 500 yards in 2019. Can rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire be the every-down back they need? The Chiefs may be able to get through another season with a revolving door of backs and this may be the window of opportunity Andy Reid needs to go after Derrick Henry in 2021.
A great balance between the run and pass will make the Chiefs that much explosive and distance themselves from any other offense in the NFL with Pat Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce.
