A.J. Green

A.J. Green is an interesting option. Once regarded as one of the top wide receivers in the league, Green hasn’t played a full NFL season since 2017 and did not suit up at all last season.

For Green, he has a chance to prove he still has it this season with his contract being up. LSU phenomenon and No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow is the new guy at QB in Cincinnati and you have to think Green will be one of his go-to guys. Tyler Boyd has been able to take advantage of Green’s missed times and developed his game at receiver, but you can’t look past Green’s ability.

Where he goes in 2021 really depends on 2020, more with Green than anyone else. He could be in line for a good size pay day, or be one of the last scraps of a deep wide receiver class in free agency.

Regards, the New England Patriots love bringing in veteran wide receivers and Green fits their bill. They don’t have that big stud of a receiver yet, as they hope N’Keal Harry can be that guy in the future. The Patriots are projecting to have the second-highest cap space in 2021, so they can shell the cash if needed to bring Green in.

Prediction: New England Patriots
