No. 2 — 2010: Week 17 at New York Giants

Date: December 19th, 2010

Score: Eagles, 38; Giants, 31

In what would become one of the great come-from-behind victories in league history, the Eagles overcame a 31-10 deficit in just over seven minutes of time, scoring four touchdowns to defeat the Giants in 38-31 fashion.

Over that eight-minute span, Vick had both ice in his veins — 6-of-11, 121 yards, two touchdowns — and used blazing speed in the form of 5 carries for 91 yards and a score. It was one of the great fourth quarter performances of our generation.

A loss would have been costly, tripping the Eagles into a one-game deficit behind the Giants for the NFC East division standings. But with the win, the Eagles went to 10-4, and were able to host a home Playoff game.

Aside from becoming the poster child for one of the biggest upsets of the year, the game also bolstered Michael Vick’s Most Valuable Player bid. All told, Tom Brady became the first unanimous MVP, but just about every news outlet saw Vick in the conversation as arguably the runner-up. This game was a key reason why.
