Steelers: 3 burning questions following the 2020 NFL Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers entered the 2020 NFL Draft with six draft picks and came away with six players that they hope can help them return to the playoffs. With Ben Roethlisberger returning under center, there is optimism surrounding the Steelers next season.

After not having a first-round pick, Pittsburgh decided to draft Chase Claypool in the second round of this year’s draft. By selecting Claypool, the Steelers are making it clear that they want to surround Roethlisberger with better weapons as he nears the end of his career, having already added Eric Ebron in free agency.

Shortly after taking Claypool, Pittsburgh chose to add Alex Highsmith in the third round. Highsmith is a pass-rushing specialist that should be utilized alongside T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree off of the edge.

Over the next 365 days, Pittsburgh is going to have a few questions that need to be answered that stem from this year’s draft. In light of that, let’s take a look at three burning questions for the Steelers following the 2020 NFL Draft.
