The Minnesota Vikings are an extremely interesting team heading into the regular season. They finished 10-6 a season ago and in second place in the NFC North. Minnesota was able to upset the New Orleans Saints on the road in the postseason before falling to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Vikings have made some moves in the offseason. They received a first-round pick when they sent Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills. The Vikings used their picks on Justin Jefferson and Jeff Gladney in round one. Jefferson will join Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cook on what should be a Vikings’ offense that scores some points.

Kirk Cousins has always struggled during prime time games. This is something that the Vikings will deal with in the 2020 season. They have big time matchups with the Saints and Seattle Seahawks along with two games against their biggest division foe, the Green Bay Packers.

In his third season with the Vikings, Cousins could be more comfortable within the offense and that will help him perform on the biggest stage.

It will be a race to the finish for the Vikings as they will try to keep pace with the Green Bay Packers in the division. The head-to-head matchups will be key as well as beating the teams that you are supposed to.

Let’s take a look at the Vikings’ schedule for the 2020 season and predict the outcome.
