4 perfect targets for the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft

Vasha Hunt-USA TODAY Sports

Lloyd Cushenberry

Besides the offensive tackle positions, the Browns need to revamp their offensive line in the interior as well. Last offseason, Cleveland sent Kevin Zeitler to the New York Giants in the trade that landed them Odell Beckhamr Jr.

While Beckham failed to get acclimated with the Browns, Zeitler was a vital piece to New York’s offensive front. Now, Cleveland needs to officially replace Zeitler in the interior of the offensive line.

Early in the second round, there are some interior linemen that could be on Cleveland’s radar. If he’s still on the board, Lloyd Cushenberry could be an ideal selection for the Browns.

Cushenberry mainly played center at LSU and started for them for two seasons. During his time in college, Cushenberry displayed athleticism and an ability to pick up a system quickly. The decision to draft Cushenberry should be made for him to be a guard, that develops into a possible center role.
