2. Drew Lock, Denver Broncos
The Broncos made huge strides in improving their offense from 2019. It began towards the end of the season when Drew Lock burst onto the scene and looked like a capable starter. Fantasy football owners should still proceed with caution with the Denver quarterback.
The Broncos used their first two picks in the draft on wide receivers. They landed Jerry Jeudy in the first round and continue with Penn State’s K.J. Hamler. The wide receiving group is now crowded with Courtland Sutton already on the roster.
Denver also signed Melvin Gordon to pair with 1,000 yard rusher Phillip Lindsay. Like most quarterbacks on this list, Lock has a wait and see feel to him.
The Broncos will face the Tennessee Titans in their opener. The Titans are a team that likes to run the ball and go on long drives. This will limit the Broncos’ time on the field. Lock is a solid bench option to be used on your starter’s bye week.
