Fantasy Football: Ranking the top 6 sleeper wide receivers for 2020

5. Marquise Brown, Baltimore Ravens

Marquise Brown is already one of the league’s most explosive players. Baltimore is going to need him to have a breakout year if they want to improve on their success from last season. While Brown showed promise last season, he should be even better this year.

Brown has another year to build and grow as a receiver. This season, he will come out as the Ravens’ top receiver. That should be reason along to put him on the radar for fantasy football players.

While Brown’s size has been a concern, he managed to find success last season. However, last season’s success was not enough for him. According to Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley, Brown has added over 20 lbs of muscle.

Adding this muscle should also help Brown with injury. Over the offseason Brown underwent foot surgery to remove a screw in his foot. Admittedly, Brown was not 100% for a majority of last season.

Although Brown is a major “boom-or-bust” style player, another offseason should allow for more consistency. He has a good chance of breaking 1,000 yards and his big-play ability should yield plenty of touchdowns, making him an intriguing target in fantasy football.
