Arizona State Sun Devils

The Arizona State Sun Devils have yet to achieve the kind of results they set out to achieve during the Herm Edwards era. They have finished with a winning record in each of the last two seasons, but have squandered opportunities to build off impressive wins.

The upcoming season appears to be a prime opportunity for the Sun Devils to take the next step. They may have lost Brandon Aiyuk and Eno Benjamin to the 2020 NFL Draft, but regardless, there is genuine potential for the offense to improve.

Something to take into consideration is that Arizona State hired Zak Hill from Boise State to fill the offensive coordinator role. Having Jayden Daniels develop heading in to his sophomore season and play in a new scheme that better fits his skill-set should help considerably.

There is still plenty of talent on the Sun Devils’ defense and that certainly will help to field a competitive all-around team. It’s worth monitoring how Arizona State succeeds after switching up the defensive scheme to a traditional 4-3 look as well.
