USC Trojans

It was an offseason of major change for the USC Trojans all across the program. While Clay Helton remains in the head coach role, the rest of the coaching staff is very different. Whether that translates to greater success remains to be seen, but there is certainly the potential of that taking place.

The talent on USC’s roster compares quite favorable with the rest of the PAC-12 as it’s considered likely the best in the conference. It will be up to Helton to get the job done in the coaching department after leading consecutive disappointing seasons.

It will undoubtedly help to have Kedon Slovis continue to progress after adding a full-year of experience. The offense should be able to expand on what they want to run now that he is no longer a true-freshman. With an impressive supporting cast, the offense could reach impressive heights.

If the Trojans truly are improved and ready to take a few steps forward, they will be given prime opportunity to showcase it. They have matchups with the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on the regular season schedule in 2020.
