Chicago Bears

Trade Package: Chicago Bears trade Allen Robinson II & 2021 fourth-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2021 first-round pick & 2022 fourth-round pick.

The Chicago Bears may want to think about jumpstarting their rebuild this season. Their defense is very good, but the offense has tons of holes–holding them back from competing in the NFC North. Do Bears fans truly think Allen Robinson will want yet another mediocre QB throwing him the football?

Trading a player likely to leave in free agency is always a smart decision. With this pick, Chicago could draft their QB of the future, then draft a wideout for him to throw to with the other 1st round pick.

Philadelphia is in need of a true number 1 receiver. Last season Carson Wentz was incredible for the lack of resources around him. Adding Robinson will guarantee he has a true go-to wideout, while Jalen Reagor develops.

Wentz would be the first quality quarterback Robinson has had in his career. He has put up monster numbers with Blake Bortles and Mitch Trubisky. With an MVP caliber QB, Robinson could make the leap into the league’s elite. Carson Wentz and Allen Robinson deserve each other, and their styles of play mesh very well.

While Robinson is a key piece to the Bears’ offense, he is coming off a career year and the Bears offense was still mediocre at best. With the extra first-round draft pick Chicago could rebuild their offense. Chicago’s defense is still young, and the rebuild likely would be just a quick change at QB and a playmaker or possibly a lineman.

With a strong young offense and a dominant defense, Chicago would once again be ready to make a playoff push in 2021 and possibly build a dynasty.
