4. Ryan Tannehill is a Legit Top-Tier QB
Ryan Tannehill was a major reason for the Titans’ victory against the Jaguars. The Jaguars did a very good job of containing Tennessee’s running game but struggled to achieve similar results against the passing game.
Although the yardage total was not eye-popping for Tannehill, he was incredibly efficient once again. He simply does not turn the ball over. He takes what the defense gives him, but when a big play is necessary, he can take shots downfield and capitalize.
This week, he tested the Jaguars secondary, especially safety Andrew Wingard. Tannehill won those battles almost every time throwing for four touchdowns, even without A.J. Brown in the lineup.
The Titans are surely happy they can rely on Tannehill when Henry is the focus of the opposing defense. The combination of Tannehill and Henry could be a championship duo with how they feed off each other. This offense is the perfect combination of efficiency and dynamic plays.
Henry is still an elite running back, and now they have a top 10 quarterback as a complement when considering the strides Tannehill has made in his development since taking over the starting role for the Titans.
