Broncos: Inexperience on Offense
It’s difficult to project what will happen with unproven players and that’s the greatest weakness for the Denver Broncos at the moment. They will be starting a second-year quarterback in Drew Lock that has five games under his belt.
The Broncos achieved legitimate success in the games Lock played in 2019 as they posted a 4-1 record. However, his individual production featured totals of just 1,020 passing yards and seven touchdowns. They will need greater volume to elevate the offense as a whole.
There is usually a lot of excitement surrounding every team’s draft class leading up to the time the rookies actually take the field. That is especially the case for a team like the Broncos that added explosive prospects that play skills positions.
