3. Dez Bryant Signs with Packers

There isn’t much better than an NFL comeback story and it would be intriguing to see Dez Bryant pull that off. For additional intrigue, it would be fascinating for him to do it as a member of the Green Bay Packers–the same team he had the infamous “Dez caught it” performance against.

As it currently stands, the Packers have Davante Adams setting the tone as the No. 1 receiver, but the rest remains uncertain. Whether it’s Allen Lazard or someone else on the roster stepping up, the next spots on the depth chart could use additional veteran competition.

The cost to bring Bryant in likely would be minimal considering the circumstances. An opportunity to play for a team coming off a 13-3 record and an NFC Championship Game appearance while catching passes from Aaron Rodgers has to be intriguing for any receiver.

It’s important for the Packers to make the most of Rodgers’ remaining time with the organization. They did not add a receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft despite the hype surrounding it as being a potentially historic receivers class. Taking a slight risk on Bryant it worth a try.
